Earthworms are known to be positive soil fertility indicators. Earthworms convert dead organisms and other material into nutrients which are vital for soil fertility. however, too much of anything is bad for any species. In this experiment i'm going to regulate the concentration levels of humic acid and see when the concentrations start too show detrimental effects to the ecosystem. If earthworms convert too much of one nutrient, farmers will have to manually regulate the other nutrient levels in the soil.
