Highly energetic materials can be used for fuels, explosives, and fireworks. This poster identifies four unique, yet to be synthesized chain molecules and explores their potential as highly energetic molecules using ab initio quantum mechanical methods. A thermochemical analysis of combustion and detonation reactions will be discussed.
