Body language is a natural trait in animals and humans. Because body language is something inherent to us, there is not an exact date of when it was discovered. However, natural philosophers like Francis Bacon and Charles Darwin were pioneers in the study of what people say with their bodies. Usually, those verbally unsaid things are revealed by the body postures and movements. The first studies on body languages were based animals’ postures, and those discoveries led Darwin and later researchers like Desmond Morris to acknowledge body language as a human feature as well.
